Shopping Memory and Personalization

The For You experience uses product views, searches, watchlist actions, alert activity, and verified price history to build recommendations, shopping profiles, and price journeys. Signed-out activity is associated with a pseudonymous, hashed device identifier; we do not store the original device identifier in shopping-memory records.

Shopping events and inactive anonymous shopping identities are normally retained for up to 180 days. Operational or legal records may follow a different retention period where required.

In the For You page you can pause personalization, download the shopping-memory data linked to your current identity, or clear that memory. Clearing memory removes the derived profile, events, product activity, and price journeys; it does not delete your account, watchlist, or price alerts unless you remove those separately.
